The Cartoon

Remarks

A new design for the strip, as the title is moved to a long, thin strip at the top to allow me to accomodate an extra frame of actual cartoon. The fact that there was a fair gap between this strip and the previous ones (although the gap is nothing compared to some later ones!) is accounted for by our heroes behaving themselves. Their reward is a test against CPU1... and it's tough to work out which one is worse at it!

(1) SARGE: Well men, I'm impressed.
(2) SARGE: You haven't done anything grossly incompetent for weeks!
(3) SARGE: I think it's time we tried you out against CPU1...
(4) LATER, SARGE and CORPORAL look on as the squad try their hand against CPU1
(5) LATER STILL, SARGE is yawning.
(6) YES, LATER STILL, SARGE has fallen asleep
(7) WHADDAYA KNOW? LATER STILL...
CORPORAL: Good news, sir!
SARGE: (wakes up) Wha? Whassat?
(8) CORPORAL: One team has finally hit the other...
SARGE: (looks at watch) After only half an hour, too...
