To get these codes to work, enter them as your driver name. If you've got it right, Colin's co-driver Nicky Grist will tell you it's been accepted.

Enter these as your manager name when starting a new game. A mssage will confirm the cheat, and you get to type in your real name.
| Name | What it does |
|---|---|
| SUPERSTARS | Quite a handy cheat, this, as it bumps up you player's abilities up to the top notch (although Agility [GKs only], Pace [Non-GKs only], Temperament, Fitness, Stamina and Intelligence still vary with the player). The disadvantage is that you must foot a hefty wage bill for your stars, but you can sell players for massive amounts (£38 million for a defender, anyone?) and the best new players in the world (i.e. your youth team) come dirt cheap for their talents. |
| POTIONS | It's always annoying when your star striker, wonder winger or defensive linchpin injures himself in training and is out for weeks, maybe even months. Use this cheat and your injured players will be back in the squad in a matter of days. |
| NO CONSTRUCTION | New stadia cost a packet, and they take ages to build. This cheat allows you to build them almost instantly (about a full day's work), and - even better - it's free! (Well strictly speaking, the same amount of money is credited to your account as is debited) |
| LUCKY STREAK | You win every game, mainly courtesy of stunning defending and keeping, and some simply crazy goals. Matches aren't quite as thrilling as with the SUPERSTARS cheat, but it's more of a dead cert and it's also a lot easier on your pocket. |
| FILTHY RICH | Gives you access to funds that not even Manchester United can dream of - specifically, half a billion quid. |
Thanks to John Brown for the last three.
There are a couple of odd surprises in LMA Manager 2001. The names of youth team players appear to be arbitary, but look closely and you can see that those wacky guys at Codemasters must be Carry On fans - there's a defender named K. Williams and a striker named S. James...
That's not all. Have you noticed that goalkeepers never take free kicks - even when the kick's in the six-yard area! Wingers have a tough time of it too - they tend to get stuck in the top corners of the pitch, and joggle about as if they're unsure of what to do. Hmm... slightly suspect AI

Also, to slow the game down, push the open button on the PlayStation. This should slow the game down (Its uh... its technical...). Don't forget to close it at the end...
